The Kaiser Regional Courier Department is committed to providing high quality services in a collaborative partnership with our customers, and employees. Optimizing both internal and external resources, we will be committed to providing the most efficient integrated transportation services in an environment driven by local needs with centralized oversight, expertise and facilitation.

Base of Operation
The Regional Couriers Department is based at the Regional laboratory in North Hollywood, and also operates work stations out of six other locations; Downey, Riverside, Walnut Center, Baldwin Park, Woodland Hills, and Panorama City. Our primary function is to provide transportation and deliveries, as well as sort and re-route inter-office mail. Our primary customers include; Laboratory/Pathology, Pharmacy, Member Services, Medical Records, Optical, and Radiology.
Services
Activity Schedules
We provide a scheduled pick-up and delivery service on a 24 hr/ 7 day a week basis, with an average of 5 services per day at medical centers, to most Southern California Kaiser locations. Our cargo includes; laboratory specimens, pharmaceuticals, patient charts, x-rays, and inter-office mail. We provide bar code tracking for all lab specimens, and other sensitive materials (i.e. payroll.
Online Schedule
Package Tracking
Our clients within the Kaiser Permanente facilities currently print their own tracking label for real time tracking of their packages. This tracking system, Pac Trac allows sender, couriers and administrative staff to review previously sent packages for pick up time, location stops and delivery times all via their tracking number. This review is Web based for end user ease.
